Indexing / Indexing troubleshooting

Why Google is not indexing my site

A practical debugging path for new sites, AI-generated pages, and no-code launches that are visible but barely indexed.

Open the Indexability Matrix

Separate crawling from indexing

A page can be reachable by users but still blocked from search. First check robots.txt, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag headers, redirects, canonical tags, and HTTP status codes.

Look for weak discovery paths

Google needs consistent signals. Add important URLs to the sitemap, link to them from crawlable pages, and avoid sending canonical tags to a different or redirected URL.

Improve the reason to index

Thin, duplicated, or boilerplate AI pages may be discovered but ignored. Add unique copy, clear page intent, useful headings, and structured data that matches visible content.
